Quest npcs not spawning
So, is this common? Had a 10 day time limit inside a dungeon, I literally spent 7 in game days straight just walking around looking for this bastard. I got tired of looking and used tele2qmarker, and it plops me... in an empty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ room.

??? Is this a unity bug?

"Go here and kill mage" for the mages guild.
Yeah, monsters, NPCs and items you're supposed to find in a dungeon will sometimes just not spawn. A bug as old as the game. Remember to always save before asking someone for a quest. :chuchelwhy:

I guess I should take it as "immersive" if anything. going off old/inaccurate information would lead someone on a pointless dungeon dive.

Do they not spawn, or don't you find them? Given the size and complexity of most dungeons, I would find it hard to say they are not there.
In classic DF, you can cycle through the most important quest locations in dungeons, and eventually arrive at your destination.
Has a similar feature been implemented in DFU, or does there exist a mod doing this?

I do the "Go to quest npc" command in console, and its an empty room, aka, they didnt spawn.
Did you edit that one file so the dungeons get smaller? That can sometimes mess up spawnpoints for mission stuff. :VGRUMPY:

Thanks, good to know - I'm not familiar with DFU console commands.
