Then you create a custom damage spell with max damage and max duration which does Aoe Damage at range.
Then you proceed to blast everything with said ball of magic which can reabsorb into your magicka if you shoot it close enough.
======================
If you want something more practical. Make a free action spell with minimum duration (dont buy the one the shop sells since you dont need duration). Get cure poison and cure disease. Get a levitate spell. Get a recall spell.
If you want to practice stealth, make a true invisibility spell.
If you want to jump around on top of houses like Spiderman, make a jump spell.
Unless there´s something more powerfull than this, I´m happy lol
Levitation is a very handy for ranged spell combat in certain areas, use jump and crouch to go up and down.
I use store bought God's Fire because I am not joining the guild until later due to reputation and advancement. Fireball, Firestorm, Lightening, Wildfire, Ice spells, and Shock are other spells I like. Light, Heal, Stamina are spells I use a lot as well. Spamming Heal spell during combat has saved my life countless times.
As far as Recall goes you need to set the Anchor first to teleport to, it gives the teleport the destination. Second time you cast it choose Teleport, and after you teleport recast it again to set the anchor again because it doesn't stay.
I´m using HotKeys mod and currently I have fireball, a self made heal that heals very little for very little magic and can be spammed, sleep on target, normal heal, levitation, water walking and self made teleportation. I´ll probably install the mod that expands the teleportation system.
Got a horse and a wagon and for now I mostly just go out of town in Wayrest waiting to find a battle due to wildernessNPCs mod, I start throwing fireballs to kill everything and loot them, repeat until cart is looded and get back to town to get rich so I can continue buying spells and testing them. Training also it´s quite expensive so I gotta get those swep gold pieces.
I think tomorrow I´ll try to figure out the bank system, all that gold is starting to weight on me and I saw a house for sale, need to check those systems.
Houses are expensive but Airship is a mod and you can set the price in mods' settings. Airship can be manually flown btw it is one of the coolest mods. Forward and back for movement and velocity, and float up and down for height and velocity but careful because it needs to be reversed to shut down when you reach the height/depth level you want or it will keep going in the up or down direction. And the same reverse method to slow down and stop for forward and back movement. I press Esc to get off the ship wheel but I hope there is a better button I don't know about yet.
Monsters don't seem to respawn when one is on the airship but it is very fast movement to get to the npc battle spots when at full speed ahead. And the airship stays parked in the sky where you left it so you can transfer loot to it. But I leave a recall at the door of the shop I am using.
Btw you can change the name of the spells by clicking the spell and then the name at the top of the screen. Hit sort after. A1 Stamina will come before A2 Light allowing one to arrange things, but you can name them anything.
Hotkeys is cool but it messes up my game in ways so I'm stuck with old school.
So it´s on the later end of the middle of my load order. Initially I had it way up and was not working, then I put it way down and also didn´t work. It was only when in the middle but still above magic compass and convenient clocks that it worked. And I think it may have something to do with those two because they are the ones I had to struggle the most finding a load order in which they will work (for example if I have convenient clocks over magic compass, the compass disappears and never comes back)
5 pt custom free action spell
cheap heal fatigue custom spell
cheapest custom levitate spell
cheapest custom water walking/water breathing spell
cure poison - better off casting from an item - rank up in mages guild until you can buy items
cure disease - expensive to cast - potion is best
recall
magic shield/magic reflect enchanted on items - necessary if not using Unity, may not need with Unity and high hit points
melee character doesnt need anything else
destruction spells if its in your template
