Starving to death

It's Wednesday and I am going to die already, I managed to scrounge together some acorns to sell and buy bread for my date with Lebkuchen but now I'm out of food and even if I get an S rank at work I will die regardless. If I didn't bribe Luffy I might have some food left... Is it over? Will I starve to death? Is my save toast? Is it all ogre now or is there somewhere I can get some food to eat. Surely the townsfolk would feed Elise if she was literally going to die.

The game has multiple save slots. You need to save before each event using new save slots.
Do jobs properly so you get more money. If you do a job poorly re-load the save.

You may have already found these items, but I'll mention them anyway. (Images provided in hyperlinks)

You can get a Pretzel from behind the bakery[imgur.com], which will fill one hunger slot.

You can also find a Toy Horse by Kieferberg's Windmill[imgur.com], which can be sold for 10 tiffle, just enough for one Bread.

try to rank high in chores. as much as you can. Before every chore make a save so if you don't get a good score you can reload the game and redo it

The Golden Maidens often reward you with items you can sell for food funds. Lebkuchen also gives you two loaves of bread every single night if you meet her by the swing. I scavenged as much as I could and never brought Rozenmarine to do chores with me (except once for the achievement). It isn't worth it at all to lose 3 bread every time.

Rozenmarine is useful if you wish to rank S in all chores to get the corresponding achievement
