Let's start with the fact that ending no3 is called Little Goody Two Shoes which implies that is wasn't destined but fated for the demon to go after Elise's bloodline, with an obvious repeat of the LGTS story but with Goldia instead of Elise.
In LGTS Elise has the option to not go on romantic dates with any of the girls (excluding Rozenmarine for one time (if I remember well) because as she said they were fated to meet and that doesn't change). They just didn't take it on another level. As I said earlier the encouter with Ozzy was fated as well because Elise was conceived in the woods as Holle wished and they were already connected.
So yeah, one way or another either her or her kids would encounter Ozzy. So Goldia encountered the shoes because that was written to happen - some things can never change since demons can't be erased from existence. Plus Goldia wouldn't exist if Elise didn't exist as well so it adds more to it. About how she got married? Well, part of the fate!
BUT I solidly believe that the real ending is DAWN because Goldia awakes into reality and we know what happened after she escaped (without enjel's scythe regalia because she was created - she wasn't part of her persona), while in Little Goody Two Shoes we don't know if she went to an alternate universe or if she keeps on having an endless dream till the end of her days in cause of Enjel partaking in her rescue.
I'm actually not certain that this part is correct. I may be wrong but my interpretation was that the LGTS ending of pocket mirror rewound time back to the last moment Elise was able to divert the course of events and allowed her to make a different decision. This would have been the point where Elise and Rozenmarine were standing in front of the tree after gifting all 3 offerings where Elise has the option to go ahead to meet Ozzy and have Rozenmarine taken(the Moira ending) or choose her and leave the forest together (the Star Crossed ending). We know that Rozenmarine is Elise's canonical sweetheart as only in the ending where Rozenmarine is the good company does Lebuken give future Elise the pocket mirror.
So I think we can say fairly certainly that the LGTS ending of pocket mirror is in the Star Crossed timeline.
The only question is where did Goldia come from in this timeline?
I can think of a few possible explanations:
Hmm, it seems that the developers have confirmed that there won't be any sequels to LGTS, so I guess some lore will remain unexplained after all.
Unless, of course, Astral Shift decides to remaster/update LGTS a few years down the road just like Pocket Mirror, and adds some lore-related Easter eggs similar to the 'Shattered Delusion' ending and Henri's secret room, both of which weren't in the original PM.
The more you explore LGTS, the more lore-related mysteries you seem to find. I recently realized that Elise's portrait in the first Witching Hour dungeon (a) depicts adult Elise in the bad endings, and (b) transforms into a portrait of GOLDIA if you move away from it.
Are these mere Easter eggs, or do they hint at a non-linear timeline within the universe, with Elise and Goldia stuck in a time loop?
Plus, nobody seems to have figured out the hidden meaning of Granny Holle's unicorn tapestry - even though there must be SOMETHING
Can you clarify on that? Did they say that there would be more entries to the series or just that they wouldn't do one directly continuing from LGTS? I think they could do a sequel to Pocket Mirror focusing on Henri's side of the story.
Well, that's what they said in an interview with Noisy Pixel right after the initial release. You can check out the link below.
https://noisypixel.net/no-sequel-planned-for-little-goody-two-shoes/
Bit of a shame really, because there's still some narrative space left for Ozzy and Henri.
But I guess it is what it is. Astral Shift has spent 10+ years since 2012 on PM and LGTS, so they might want to try out some different ideas!
But if they move to other projects from here, I hope they keep making story driven games as they seem to really excel in that.
Maybe they'll remaster this game and add some extra content a few years later, if it sells well enough (like they did with Pocket Mirror)
Goldia still exist and named Goldia several times, which means that Elise must have married to Roman die Heilige, the count and sergeant. Otherwise, Goldia can never exist anymore. Therefore, Elise and Goldia can not be poor, they are the rich family of the count.
Goldia lives in Kieferberg, Germany probably because Elise cannot adapt to the aristocratic life of the city in Austria. In PM, the count is known as the sergeant, often goes out to battle and has little chance to accompany his family. There are many details suggesting that Elise was ridiculed by other aristocrats for her inappropriate dress and behavior. In the Moria end of LGTS, Elise chose to sacrifice her friend and marry the count, and felt that the upper class interaction was not what she wanted. After Elise got married, the count, as a sergeant, often had to go out for fighting. From LGTS, Elise, as an outspoken and careless country girl. From PM, Elise was not adapt to the high-class life, so it was reasonable for her to go back to her hometown to live with her beloved daughter. Alone in the empty big castle, and the unpleasure high society, it is better to return to Kieferberg, their hometown and familiar people together (married to the count is not lack of living expenses). When the count has free time, Elise may return to the castle or the count come to Kieferberg to visit her and her daughter (Kieferberg might be the count's domain). The only thing that Elise need to do is to take care of their kids, Elise will not being a maid-of-all-work anymore. From PM to the medical record list of dawn ending, Goldia was born in 1862, which means that Elise married the count earlier. If you had the knowledge of world history, you might know that Germany was unified in 1871, before every territory had such nobles and lords, even after the unification of these small lords also have a lot of power. It could explain why Elise and Goldia live in the old house in Kieferberg in ending 3 if the game team never explain it.
Meanwhile, from PM, you could see Elise's old house is more newer than in LGTS, and the courtyard in PM planted a large scale of white flowers that not existed in LGTS. In PM, you could know that Goldia likes chamomile tea, it can be speculated that this white flower is chamomile that planted by her mother Elise mightly. (Please note that in the language of flowers, chamomile has a symbolic meaning of "energy in adversity", which is a symbol of Goldia's nature and suffering in PM).
In Ending3, we can try to take a gamble that Goldia has the right choice, because Goldia is unlike her mother, who is kinder and weaker than her mother. In the worst-case scenario, if Goldia repeated the tradegy again, who will sacrificed by her (probably the child of Freya, a companion who grew up with Goldia together?) Will Goldia's mother, Elise, or Goldia's daughter, once again save Goldia by rewriting history again? These have to be clearly explained by the next game, instead of this ambiguous answer on the game team in Reddit. We can only guess rather than affirm. It would be nice if each generation could save the previous generation and give it a new life.
Elise is a lesiban, yes. But if she doesn't find the shoes, the history will not same as the story in LGTS game, cuz LGTS the game is built on the situation that Elise found the shoes. Maybe Count Heilige meet her by chance and fall in love with her, Elise feel it's a chance to get rid of poor life, then married him and Goldia birthed.
