[Spoilers] Info I read here that confuses me

After reading some discussion here it seems someone found a catacomb key and someone else a sea cave with boulders to push?

I haven't encountered anything of the sort and did try to look around as much as possible.

Also do anyone know what to do with the note found on the ground in the church?

The note from the church is the start to exactly the questline you are asking about. After you get it eventually there will be a cave entrance with the exact same symbol as on the note that appears at the crossroads between the village and the forest. It's right above the sign that tells you directions. If you enter there you will probably figure out the rest yourself.

I did notice the symbol but I missed the cave entrance. You remember around what time of day or which day it was?

I think I just did it on the same day that I found the note? The cave should be open the entire time until you enter it though.
