What are the birds mechanics? They're so confusing I just dead-ass ran through the forest hoping I'll stay alive

Rozenmarine tells you if you use party talk.
But the way to do it is by going to the trees that don't shake. Those ones are the safe ones.

This still doesn't seem to consistently work for me even knowing what the mechanic is supposed to be, so far they have been the only enemy in this game that truly just feels like complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I ended up just tanking through with healing items in the Apfel section because of it.

I am at 1 and a half heart and I can't catch apfel because I have to wait.

It got updated so now you can't get attacked under still trees.
