We are here for the long term, to support, planing to upgrade this game into a better version that it is now, and with our Roadmap set in we are here to stay. 🙂

That is great. I am having a great time in your little aqua city builder. Fun and relaxing little game. I am looking forward to seeing where you take it.

Did you managed to find it? 🙂 The solution is that you can resupply your submarine with people, batteries and food, so your sub can keep on going. 🙂

Hope this helps!🙂 (there is a TUTORIAL thread here that can help you with other game mechanics, including Expedition house 🙂 )

So, is there no in-game tutorial, then? Just some YouTube videos?

There is but you might be better off with you-tube vids as there is a section in the in-game tutorial that might induce rage.

Well, I got this on launch day ignoring all reviews. A large portion of the negative reviews have less than 2-5 hours of playtime, and most of the positive reviews come from those that invested a larger amount of playtime, and have more meat in their write-up.
You say that as though that means something, does it really surprise you that people who don't like the game for one reason or another don't play the game for as long as people who do?

Evaluate reviews based on their content, not strictly playtime.
i am missing any sort of campaign. There is no goal. This feels liek an endless mode to a game that should have had a propper campaign. A game that is just an endless mode without any story driven content is just boring.

Also there is no survival aspect in this game. food/power/fuel are trivial. It is harder to meet the luxury needs than the basic food and energy needs. They should drop the survival in the game description so people do not aspect a new frostpunk/ixion/floodlands game.

This is basically a very easy citybuilder game. Where you lacking in 1 type of resource so you build an extra building which results in lacking a supporting resource and you build another building and so on until you have added to your whole supply chain until you lackinhb the end product again and you have to find room to add to your whole sypply chain again. repeat, repeat, repeat. As long as you keep producing drones, your supplychain is never in real danger. There is no stress no survival. Just build/build/build without an endgame
yeah no goal frostpunk has goals and stuff

We are going to implement new disasters, better expedition missions, add new maps, new events so things are already set in motion.🙂
We did put our Roadmap on Steam Page so everybody can see what do we have planed for future development of this game and we are always listening to your suggestions and asking your input so we can make this game even better. 🙂
I really want to love the game, loved the demo. I think people would be much kinder if it was Early Access not a full release; Iron out the issues, add this content you want to implement then release out of EA.
I did not buy the game yet, but I still believe that it will be a neat Game in the same spirit as Surviving Mars. Im gonna wait a few months to see the development though
I don't know, I came into the game pretty cold, after all it's just another city builder. But what I'm finding is every time I play I am getting to like it more and more. It's a slow burn with a big bang. And it's not like the rest, there is something very refreshing about the game.

Maybe a cliche sentence, but this just might be among the most beautiful things we've heard so far :) . That said, there is so much more potential in Aquatico that we obviously haven't succeed to show. So much work is ahead!

You must have missed the part where I said "More Meat In their write-up. That means content to me. If you're going to quote me, read the whole quote. The first thing I look for is always time played. THEN the content.
Proves my point, thanks. By looking first at playtime you bias towards positive reviews because people who enjoy things generally do them for longer than people who don't enjoy things.

Look at the actual substance.
I think a lot of negative reviews comes from not understanding what the game is in the first place. A lot of people that gave thumbs down expected frostpunk like, survival base building game with sort of campaign. Can't blame them because it does give such vibes. But for what it is, it's a good chill game especially for the price. I enjoy it and plan to just reach the end of tech tree, optimise my production and then wait for any updates if they come. Aquatico is a nice chill city builder without any goal really and that's fine if this is what you want.
It's a shame. People are refunding before they get to what the game is all about, as well as probably dropping a bad review. If only they would give the game a chance, it's so good. Just spent a half hour colour coding my buildings. :D
The graphics are so immersive and always trying to keep things balanced when filling up your houses is total time consuming fun.
Like I say, it's a crying shame. Dev's have made a really good game and a lot of love has gone into it. Steam can be a cruel place sometimes, a place where good games get trampled and garbage gets worshipped.

Thank you for your kind words people. 🙂
We appreciate you backing us up and we hope that you will like where we take this game in the future. 🙂

Nah, even if you weren't expecting that, it still doesn't lean into its plot in any way, way, shape, or form other than it's underwater. It's got a lack of commitment and not enough freedom to make it a sandbox city-builder.
