Leech (Take 2 Health) didn't trigger 2nd stage Bamboozle
I put a Leech into play in fight against Bamboozle. Leech triggered, taking 2 health from the enemies, leaving Bamboozle at 0 health. Bamboozle didn't transition to stage 2, until I did additional damage the next turn.

Leech seemed to remove the other minions when reducing their health as expected.
