Which version need to buy to get english patch?
Due to the current promotions on Steam, I was planning to buy The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki. I noticed that there are two versions on steam, which really confused me.
In previous discussions, it was discussed that the Trails through Daybreak version will receive the original English patch. But the description on the publisher's website confused me.
*Customers who have purchased the Japanese version of "The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki" will automatically have English added when the game is updated to the English version scheduled for the summer of 2024.
The description shows that the older version will also receive an English patch? The description doesn't say Trails through Daybreak, only Kuro no Kiseki. I would be very grateful if someone could explain, because I don't want to buy a version that is not supported by the English patch.

If it says Publisher: Clouded Leopard Entertainment (CLE), then it's never going to have official English.

However the fan patch will work with both versions.

So as I understand it, The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki published by Clouded Leopard Entertainment will never receive an official English patch. While published by NIS America, Inc. Trails through Daybreak will only receive the official English patch.
So I wonder about one thing. Why on the publisher's website NIS America, Inc. the description says:
*Customers who have purchased the Japanese version of "The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki" will automatically have English added when the game is updated to the English version scheduled for the summer of 2024.
Doesn't Kuro no Kiseki sometimes refer to eastern nomenclature? Basically, I understand that a new version of Trails through Daybreak is being released, which already includes the English patch, while people who have previously purchased the Kuro no Kiseki version will also receive the English patch update for free. I may be interpreting this incorrectly, but it would make sense for people who have already purchased the game and do not need to buy the new version.
Until NISA announced their English patch release date, they referred to it as Kuro no Kiseki.

All that paragraph is saying is that their version of the game, if you buy it now, will in fact be patched with English on the specified date.

Western one is called Daybreak, not Kuro no Kiseki no matter how many different places it shows up as Kuro no Kiseki, Kuro no Kiseki is this one.

And to clarify, Daybreak is the one getting the EN patch.
