It has this information literally on the store page:

Languages:
Interface Full Audio Subtitles
English Not supported
Traditional Chinese ✔ ✔
Japanese ✔
Korean ✔ ✔

And going by the history of the last release, which was Hajimari, there won't be English language support further down the line, not even when the actual English localization rolls around because that is done (and licensed) by a completely different company.

You will have to wait for a fan patch.

that is stupid, how are they not going to do english subtitles,

To be more clear, both Hajimari and Kuro will have English at some point down the line, just not from this publisher. It's gonna be a separate listing on the Steam store, when the time comes, so even if you buy this version, you're gonna have to buy another one once it's out if you want official English translations.

Yeah, definitely what @Marrle said.. They have done a pretty good job of getting English ports of the The Legend of Heroes games, and they generally seem to sell well enough for them to actually do it; it's just never their priority, sadly!

Haizz why would they even bother to list the game description in english when the game itself doesn’t even have it. Pretty sad

Maybe for those who want to study Chinese or Korean. Like how I bought Japanese only game and haven't touch again it after 5 hours of google translating.

Why don't people still understand that the english version will be seperate... XD It will be coming... eventually. Just don't get this version and expect a patch it will be a seperate version on the store.

Okay but like why sell another version of the game for english when you can just update the game instead to have it later on. That seems kinda dumb ngl.

This will be in English 2024.

2022 is trails of zero. 2023.... big year

Tales of azure, the game before this and the one other game NISa released last year.

Not a tales game more like the action. Platformer where SEASONS change.

It's cool they know we get them slow
To be fair. On top of Zero thos year way to many rpgs. Mostly SE and a few random ones. This wouldn't sell well with a flooded 2022 now.

People are legitimately annoyed that the Trails PC releases get released without English support - and with Reverie they have to wait until late 2023, which means Kuro is probably late 2024. These are reasonable annoyances but they should be taken up with Falcom rather than CLE.

I dont think so. I had to wait years for ff12. 4 years to play spiderman on pc.
The Japanese pub serves its market. The west could hire more staff. But they don't.

You and gamers are angry at the laziness of west in localization. To be fair west has many projects besides this one ip.

Nor can they over saturate their games.

Even trails zero pc waired years. One trails game a year us good
They are 80 to 120 hours. While hard core gamers can knock it out fast. Most only buy or play and beat a few games a year.

And trails are very text heavy.

In 2077.

Because English "localization" needs to rewrite the whole story, remove Japanese cultures from the dialogues, censor the lines that are offensive to the feminists' feelings. And also need to be dubbed in full English by the talentless dubbers.

Yeah i don't like when localization removed all Japanese culture from the original or make changes that create shift in perspective of the dialogue, I wish in the future, like some of Visual novels published by NekoNyan soft, you can switch language on the fly, like pressing J or E to switch language, it was such a great feature, I wish these jrpg can do the same too, so I can read both without having to go on youtube searching for Japanese play-through and read the original intention of the dialogue.

You can download the fantranslation/Overlay Programm on Zerofield. Not sure how it works on PC but it worked well on Hajimari with remoteplay from PS4 to PC. If you are interested in playing it before the official english translation i recommend to give this a try!
