The coverage is certainly something that we're going to improve and we'll also be tweaking the behaviour of things like the highlighting as well as adding some settings for it. Free spray also has some planned improvements such as the ability to unmask and infinite battery life. In the full game you can also replay any completed item in contract mode, going through the same masking/unmasking stages but using any paint colours you like. By comparison free spray is an infinite mode without any preparation and a few other unique features.
We are compiling a list of all comments about the demo and I'll add your feedback to it. Many thanks for taking the time to write such a comprehensive response.
The new demo’s live! It’s a bit longer now, with a new job added and co-op multiplayer in Free Spray mode. We’ve made lots of improvements too—stuff like a better task highlighter and bigger ground masking.
