Can't connect to EA server

Finally thought I'd found a solution to F 23 not launching by by starting through EA ap. When I start the internet is connected but disconnects after Fifa launches. Ithought I'd be able to play Premier League or WSL. But with no connection choices are very limited. Player career is limited to men. Why is EA and Steam selling this for PC that doesn't work properly.
