Fifa 23 won't launch still after update , anti cheat error still exists.

My pc specs are a Intel i7 , 64g ram , rtx 3080 , ssd , windows 11, After the woman's world cup update in June, I got the anti cheat error and that it needs to be reinstalled. However It won't install error 701 failure and error 1113 failure to extract. I have fifa 23 on ea app. So far I have tried.

1. Giving game and anti cheat administration privileges
2. Reinstalled the game 4 times
3. Deleted anti cheat dll and verified the game files
4. Reverified game files
5. Uninstalled all antivirus software
6. Unisnstalled any other anti cheat software
7. Used the hidden administrator in cmd promt
8. Turned secure boot on and off in the bios settings.
9. Disabled every process that wasn't a Microsoft one in control panel
10. Disabled all programs on startup
11. Made sure tpm is working in bios
12. Downloaded the ea anti cheat installer from the website instead of game
13. Made sure all USB devices were disconnected before install
14. Used cc cleaner to wipe registry and cleaned the computer
15. Reinstalled the ea app multiple times
16. Used a tool ea recommended to completely uninstall fifa 23 , ea anti cheat and the app.
17. Deleted every file and folder related to ea , fifa and ea anti cheat everywhere on the pc.
18. Updated the game with latest update
19. Installed security signatures manually for the anti cheat and fifa 23

Only thing I haven't tried is a complete wipe of windows 11 and reinstall.

This issue is annoying me as I can normally find a solution to the problem , however nothing seems to be working. Does anyone know any other fix?

Same problem here. They borked something in recent updates making it unplayable. They need to get on fixing this secureboot nonsense.

Update for some more things I've tried that others suggested. However didn't work for me.

20. Tried disabling event log in task manager services tab.
21. Run system file checker from Microsoft to clear any issues.

I will keep looking for a solution, but I don't think ea even knows what is going on. I have spoken to ea live chat multiple times.

I'm having the same issue, very frustrating. It seems like a lot of players are facing this problem after the recent updates. Given the number of complaints and the widespread nature of this issue, it's definitely something that EA should address soon.

Additionally, I want to give a shout out to bridge844 for diligently trying out various fixes and sharing the updates. I'll be following this discussion closely and if I happen to find a solution on my end, I will certainly share it here.

Hope a fix comes soon. It's unfortunate when gaming time turns into troubleshooting time.

I also have the very same problem. Tried everything I found so far and I'm still unable to fix it. Wanted to buy EA FC 24 today, but better not to. Until this fixed. Don't wanna risk my investment. Hope it can get fixed soon.

I will keep looking and trying for a fix and let people know , as loads of people are having various different errors. I am also assuming that FC24 will face the same issues as it is already listed in the anti cheat software installer. I haven't found anything new to try yet.

I have tried a clean install on a different system to mine that is older. I have never played any EA game on it. I still encountered the same errors and wouldn't launch.

I have also spoken to ea live chat twice , just as a longshot. I don't think they have any idea of what is going on or how to fix it. I don't think they even understand the issue. As others on forums say they often suggest port forwarding as a solution , which is ridiculous.

I am also keeping an eye on the fifa discord, steam , ea help , ea fourms and reddit for any kind of information or solution. I will keep updating this if I come across any.

Then it will open SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FIFA 23
3. Right click at EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher > properties > Digital Signature
There's only one list, select and click details
4. View certificate > install certificate > Current user > next > finish. Import success
5. Right click at EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll_b > properties > Digital Signature
There's only one list, select and click details
6. View certificate > install certificate > Current user > next > finish. Import success

Hi thanks , I already tried that last week. It didn't work for me at all. It seems some people It solves the problem and some it doesn't. On mine I still get the anticheat error after I do that. The game can't launch with the anti cheat error. It is worth a try however.
