New steps: Navigate to the FIFA23 game installation path, for me using Steam, it is like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FIFA 23.

Under FIFA23 folder, locate the 2 AntiCheat components, one is EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe, the other one is EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll.

Right click it, Properties - Digital Signature - Select the EA signature - Detailed information - View the certificate - Install Certificate - Use the default options and click next,next to complete it.

Do the same process for the both components.

Go to the Origin or Steam to launch the game.

I was having the same issue yesterday but tried a slightly new approach today from the already suggested steps and FIFA 23 is working again.

Reinstall EA AntiCheat Steps:
1. In Steam, right click FIFA 23 then browse local files and open folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FIFA 23\__Installer\EAAntiCheat and run EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe.
2. Press Yes on Windows prompt.
3. Press Uninstall All (or select FIFA 23 then Uninstall All)
4. Close EA AntiCheat Setup app
5. Leave Windows Explorer open pointed to the folder from step 1.
6. Launch FIFA 23 from Steam
7. Wait for Origin to start (Leave FIFA 23 and Origin Running in Steam)
8a. If you see a popup with "EA AntiCheat Service encountered a system error. Please run the EA AntiCheat Service installer." press "Reinstall EA AntiCheat". Jump to step 12 when done.
8b. If you don't see a popup after 30-60 secords then manually run EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe again.
9. In EA AntiCheat Setup select FIFA 23 and Install
10. When Install is done, run Update.
11. Close EA AntiCheat Setup app.
12. Stop FIFA 23 (and Origin) from Steam if still running.
13. Launch FIFA 23 from Steam.
14. Wait for Origin to start...
15. Wait for EA AntiCheat to start...
14. Wait for it...
15. If successful FIFA 23 should be running if EA AntiCheat started.

I did that but now neither the game status stays in "running". it stops
