PC + steam, Problem with run FIFA23 after update to EA app

I have already set "run as admin" on "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop\EADesktop.exe" - doesn't help.

Hi i posted this as sounds like we're having a similar issue. When i disconnect my controller it gets past black screen fine - i can do anything like normal, get into menus etc but as soon as i connect controller it freezes.

Since yesterday when Origin was forcibly uninstalled and EA app installed I cannot get past black screen in Fifa 23. Anti-cheat comes up and gets through, then Fifa launches but just sits on black screen doing nothing.
I have found out when i disconnect my ps5 controller via USB it will load in fine but as soon as i connect the controller it freezes and nothing works.
I was able to play fine with Origin 2 days ago without issues.
I have done the "run as admin" fixes, the "install certficate" fixes, updated my graphics driver, verified game files, basically turned me into a computer programmer just to try and play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game....
I purchased game via Steam originally.
Appears to be this controller issue. Hoping someone knows solution! thanks in advance

TRY THIS EVERY TIME IF THERE'S AN UPDATE. 100% WORKED
1. Right click at FIFA 23 in library
2. Select "BROWSE LOCAL FILES"
Then it will open SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FIFA 23
3. Right click at EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher > properties > Digital Signature
There's only one list, select and click details
4. View certificate > install certificate > Current user > next > finish. Import success
5. Right click at EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll_b > properties > Digital Signature
There's only one list, select and click details
6. View certificate > install certificate > Current user > next > finish. Import success

Open EA app, START THE GAME. It takes around 2 minutes to start the game depend on your computer/laptop performance
