How to fix speed up lag?

I'm sure you've all heard about it. The game freezes when you're online and for some people it may be 3 seconds, for others 10 or for me and unlucky fellows it may last up to 20 seconds. After that the game simply speeds up everything that you didn't see while you were frozen. Meanwhile you can't do anything and the opponent has the opportunity to do what he wants and often they end up scoring.
I used to have this in FIFA 22 but did something that fixed it, I just don't remember what. I use an AMD cpu and gpu. Thanks for possible suggestions because I can't find anything anywhere

If it's freeze its because of your documents folder and your installed game is on your other harddrive.

If it's freeze its because of your documents folder and your installed game is on your other harddrive.

I originally installed it on the other disk but now they are both on my C

Try to delete config file fifa 23 on your other harddsisk if there is. Or make a documents folder in the harddisk your installed the game and change the primary documents in the documents settings

Right-click My Documents (on the desktop), and then click Properties.

In the Target box, type the new path to the My Documents folder, or click Move to browse to the folder and if needed, create a new My Documents folder. If the path you type does not exist, you are prompted to confirm that you want to create a new folder.

Click Yes to move files from the old My Documents location to the new location, or click No if you do not want to move these files. Note that if you click No, the files in the old location are not deleted, but they are no longer visible from My Documents after the change.

I checked it and I don't have the config file in the other disk

So I just happened to be playing at lower volume right now and heard my PCfans going crazy whenever the lag was happening. It's definitely something in my PC but I have a good PC. I don't know what it could be

I don't know. Some times I have luck where my game doesn't freeze but it's so stupid and this is in the game for years

I had this lag in fifa 22 also, but it was very rarely, in fifa 23 i have speed up lag every time, 4 times per game even my pc is pretty good for this game

I did that the other day but it didn't work. But today my AMD program didn't open automatically. I always have it on to save goals i scored that were nice so I was having no lag when I noticed that it wasn't opened. Pretty sure closing this program fixes everything for AMD users
