Anyone with Core i7 8xx/9xx or Pentium able to run the game at all?

As some may know, many people with older (but usually still powerful, often overclocked) CPU's without AVX are not able to launch the game, after anticheat passes successfully nothing happens at all. Interestingly, some people WITH AVX CPUs got the same issue. So the interesting question is, is anyone with a non-AVX CPU, like Core i7 860, 920, 930 etc or a newer Pentium able to run the game at all? It would be really important to know if the issue is AVX related.

Hi, i7920 user here, my game runs anticheat just fine with all the blue bar and then i can see fifa exe in task manager for a brief moment and im out to Origin again.

im a intel xeon w3520 (equivalent to i7 920) user and mine has the exact same problem and i have found other pentium users not able to play for the same issue so im guessing it will be AVX related, if so because its EA they will most likely take ages to fix the problem, most likely in a minimum of 7 days

Just for letting you know, I have Xeon X5570 (I know, it not match the minimum requirements, but still). The issue is the same, AntiCheat passed, everything OK, game appears in Task Manager, and then closes automatically without error in 5 seconds. And Origin appears back. BTW, FIFA 22 running just perfect, with Ultra preset 60 FPS. I have also GTX 1060 (6GB) and 16 GB DD3 RAM. But still, 22nd is running just PERFECT, and this one won't start at all.

Yes, definitely nothing to be done without a patch removing AVX requirements at this point, sadly. Might happen (like with Horizons or Cyberpunk), might never happen at all (like with Death Stranding).

Legally, they're required to do it. And they can't wiggle out by stating the put two AVX CPUs as the min requirements, since many pentiums are newer than those CPUs. So Lawsuits will happen and if it is not fixed then it will most likely end up with a lawsuit and people would get refunded with interest (more than the original proce of the game).

because they listed the reuqirement as AVX instruction is required fifa 23 hasnt

i am on xeon and tried all fixes except one - secure boot. old motherboards with old BIOS do not have that and i guess that the real problem. since i was able to run anticheat.

For sure this is the problem. on this cpu ,Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.7GH , game pass anticheat , but then nothing happens.
On a ryzen 7 , game runs perfect without a problem.
