FIFA 23 optimization issues

I have a slight hunch you're either running the game on a slow CPU or budget gpu. Or on a slow notebook.
If You want to run to game smoothly, you need to at least have an equivalent of a Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel Core i7-9700K cpu and Radeon RX 6800 or Nvidia RTX 3070 gpu. These are the equivalents for XsX and ps5. Both of these consoles run the game at 4K 60 fps.

I should note that Iam running the game on origin, didn't get a steam key from a mortar store I bought the game from and my specs are
i9 9900 KS
rtx 3080Ti
64 gb DDR4 ram
and Iam playing the game on an UW 3440*1440 res, rendering on ultra with strands enabled and with unlocked framerate. During gameplay I get around 80-120 fps, but in cutscenes it can drop down to 40 fps at times, which is pretty ridiculous if you think about the hardware Iam running. Also The gpu utilization is at 99% all the time while my PC sits at 55-60 %

actually its not about ur specs guys, its even laggin on menus game is ported from playstation to pc so we can only wait for an fix.
On some specs its just work fine and on some specs it cant but ea generally solve the problems like around 2 months so we can only pray xD

maybe the mandatory ea anticheat software could be causing this, but I don't play online, so it's strange.

I smoothed out Fifa 22 by setting 60 fps lock while maintaining 143 consistent FPS in the game. Tried the same thing but no such luck. on Fifa 22 fps would peg at 143 in-game... for better or worse its arounf 60- 90 on Fifa 23 but the stutter is unplayable

Yeah there not great but can run so many other games such as Microsoft flight sim and gta 5 mods in great quality which are considerably higher quality games. 21 and 22 has run perfectly with no issues and it’s annoying that on the last fifa there’s widespread issues. I’ve never had any issues playing any games in my pc until now. That includes COD, rocket league, simulators and NBA.

I'm suffering from bad performance with incredible stuttering here, the framerate fluctuates wildly between 120 (or 60 if I limit it to that) and below 40 FPS and is completely unplayable. Changing settings in the game doesn't seem to make a difference. It's a pretty high-end PC.

This game is a buggy mess. I'd assume their new, crappy EA Anti-cheat is to blame (and is also to blame that it doesn't run on my Steam Deck at all :( ).

yes, you're not the only one, maybe the graphic card drivers are the issue or maybe the mandatory anti cheat, who knows, we will know more in the upcoming days hopefully.

yeah, I don't have the stutter during gameplay but during cutscenes or rapid camera movements during replays...

I have laggy and stuttering menus. It's very annoying. Changing the squad takes an eternity.

The game itself is as well delayed. Like ping 10ms but I can feel that it is sluggish.

Funny thing when I played FIFA 23 in the first 3 days everything was smooth...
Just after the yesterday official release it has gotten worse.

I don't have problem with lagging, my problem is that the game shuts down(crashes) my pc!
