FIFA 23 optimization issues
Post your PC specs here if you're having issues.
I have a slight hunch you're either running the game on a slow CPU or budget gpu. Or on a slow notebook.
If You want to run to game smoothly, you need to at least have an equivalent of a Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel Core i7-9700K cpu and Radeon RX 6800 or Nvidia RTX 3070 gpu. These are the equivalents for XsX and ps5. Both of these consoles run the game at 4K 60 fps.

I should note that Iam running the game on origin, didn't get a steam key from a mortar store I bought the game from and my specs are
i9 9900 KS
rtx 3080Ti
64 gb DDR4 ram
and Iam playing the game on an UW 3440*1440 res, rendering on ultra with strands enabled and with unlocked framerate. During gameplay I get around 80-120 fps, but in cutscenes it can drop down to 40 fps at times, which is pretty ridiculous if you think about the hardware Iam running. Also The gpu utilization is at 99% all the time while my PC sits at 55-60 %

What do you mean?

if we meet the recommended spec, it should be work perfectly at default settings without tuning. lowering the lod (level of detailness) is the option only when the game has problem itself. think about those only meeting minimum spec, they have no choice to further lowering the graphics. ea has to be the one to fix the game

i have

intel core i5-6400 CPU 2.70GHz
16GB RAM
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 950

last year i was playing smooth...but this year i guess that this specs are bad for the new gen game.

Cpu should be fine unless you play on full HD res max.
But that gpu is outdated. The minimum specs to run the game is gtx 1050 ti at least.

those are bare minimum specs, you should be able to run the game on lowest settings on a decent framerate, although Iam not sure about the cpu, its an old sandy bridge cpu from eleven years ago.

That "GPU" was already outdated the year it released.

Anyone in this thread know if playing on like medium settings will reduce the gpu load in the fut menus? I tried the trial, and left graphics settings on auto, which I assume is high/ultra for me and my gpu reached 78c in the menus. Gameplay was fine but the gpu usage in menus irritates me.

I can run so many games on good quality including FiveM and the last 3 fifa’s have been perfect why is it this year that it’s now having issues

Rather than making a needless comment, is it worth upgrading my cpu - if so what would you reccomend

I have a 10900k and a RTX 3080, 32GB RAM, the frame drops are really bad, I'm having to play at 1080p on low and it still lags for me, was fine on the 26th for me, was there an update ?
