FIFA 23 FPS DROPS

Idk why but on my laptop, the game just keeps dropping fps in between games, cut scenes, set pieces and even in the menu. I tried setting all the settings on low but still doesn't help. Saw other people on Reddit telling they're having this problem too on their PC'S or laptops. Does anyone know the solution or even knows that the game will be like this during the actual release also or not?

I don't have any problems with the graphics at all (lenovo legion 5 pro)) origin turns on twice when starting, but everything is ok) but the commentator is not in the game at all

Idk man, redownloading the game rn, maybe it will help, otherwise ig gotta wait for the next patch

same problem i guess its because of the hypermotion i guess we have to wait untill sep 30 to download normal version

Tried my luck with all the settings, still on the menu it runs on 60 fps and in cutscenes goes down to 15 fps.

Try desactivating vertical sync in nvidia dashboard. That worked for me, i had the same problem.

The main culprit according to what I gathered is anti cheat. It uses too much CPU (around 30%) which is absurd if you think about it. And secondly the GPU utilisation is very low during the actual gameplay for many people, even for some RTX 3080 users. CPU utilisation in the menu reaches 100%. This is just a sports game and shouldn't use so much CPU normally like battle royale or open world games. At this state it needs a major update to optimise the game.

I'm currently on a GTX1650Ti, Ryzen 5 4600H, 32GB of RAM, and this is on a laptop, it works fine for a few minutes 60fps constant then the laptop heats up really badly and its like playing someone with a million ping even on offline modes, turns out the anticheat is using like so much of the processor power(for me my cpu usage goes to 85-90% so not good at all) that it can't last long, so it's more of a developer side problem than us, i guess we'll just have to wait for EA to do something

Yep. My GPU (2060 super) is 99% utilization in menus with thermals like 77 degrees... In gameplay it's much less demanding, and get decent performance without the card even hitting 70c. How does it make sense hahah

the thing is they need to roll out a new patch for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ problem.... last time fifa users faced the same problem and i heard people saying that it took a MONTH for EA to fix it.... i hope they compensate us for this problem but this is EA we are talking about so.... guess we're f-ed

just an update..... game runs better on windows 11 than windows 10.... i thought about upgrading my laptop to windows 11 and the game started giving me constant 60 fps on ultra settings... still no luck with the cutscenes and set pieces tho
