Why no one playing this?

I readed in some magazine about this game, 7+/10. I said "Not Bad" well, i traded my Front Mission Evolved for this game, and...no one playing this, only i can play with bots, is still someone want's to play?

the community died some years ago, back when the game was new it was really expensive to have a computer that could run it. Today it's not that expensive but it's too late I guess

It's still fun with bots... for around 10 minutes...

I enjoyed the vanilla mode... never cared for the new guns, felt really forced to me...

Minimum requirement of DX10 IIRC kept many people away.

Thats not true I was in uni when this came out and managed to build a pc that could run this just fine... in fact I still use the same pc.. a record for me but meh not need to swap it out yet..

ppl must be buying their pcs in the wrong places... probably buying the pc being the mistake

I barely had a decent PC when it came out and didn't had much trouble playing. If anything it was the DX10-only requirement that hurt it's popularity.

It's unfortunate that the community died because it was one of the most interesting FPS to be released this last years. And ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ did they made an amazing work with the netcode, I was able to play on the european servers with 250ms latency without any lag.

It was developed by Futuremark, which they creating Benchmarks, game i think it's just Benchmark too, but now experiencing shooter, and only on DX10 ( i got 11 :P)

Most people can not handle real 3d shooters.
I played this in beta and when it came out, and I raped 6 to 10 people at a time because they were used to floor based shooters.

SH2 should be coming out at some point. I am pretty sure there are still servers up with people playing. I ruled pretty hard core in this game and then had to move over to STO to command a fleet there.
One of the best FPS's ever made.

Futuremark no longer makes games so I doubt SH2 will ever come out, unless the company they sold that to, Rovio Entertainment--which makes games for PHONES--decides to enter the PC market.

There is coming by an a little group, on UDK. But i don't know if SH2 is still alive, i'm don't think soo :\
