Can anyone confirm what happened to this game.?
I have heard rumors from take the money and run (does not really make sense as it was good game already) to censorship to copyright issues.

The game team has been banned by some power you know. Rumor has it that the game content alludes to the daily life truth of most china ordinary and poor people.

This game, how to put it, anyway, as far as I know, the starting point of this game is very interesting, and it also caused a huge response at the time, although it has been bouncing, but there are still a lot of people who support it at the beginning. Later, the game was officially put on the shelves, and it was taken off the shelves only a day later. At that time, everyone was shocked, and I also heard that there was a mobile game company that stole the gameplay of the game, so that the developer lost money, but the backing behind the mobile game company was very large, so the developer could not afford to break with him, so he had to end hastily. There is also a rumor that the game criticized the lowest level of Chinese society and touched the political interests of some people, leading to the ban of the government, so the developers had to abandon the game. There is also a saying that this game is completely out of place with the original two trials, not only has it not been optimized, but it is getting worse and worse, and it is far less interesting than the first trial, so on the day of release, there was a lot of scolding, and the developers had to run away.

It's funny to see so many people spreading misinformation about this. I live in China and can tell you that the game isn't a reflection of daily life here. The game was almost certainly banned due to the gambling and prostitution content.

you know what? i dont believe you. After this game, i can't even believe any chinese government, game studio and person. My money has been stolen, just like my time. This makes me very angry. it would have been very easy to delete gambling and prostitution from the game.

You're an idiot I guess. I have no reason to lie about this. You don't just "delete" things in China. They got in trouble for this because they painted a picture of China that the government here doesn't want to be seen abroad. It's pretty simple.

Then why is the game still on Thermite's website and in their twitter bio? I'm sure there's some reason for it but this idea that it reveals the hidden truth about a country we could just fly a plane to and visit isn't that convincing.
