As far as I know, the problem is that this game will never be developed further again, allegedly the project was abandoned, the money was pocketed as much as possible, the game will never be completed, it died before it was even developed. No more Chinese games.

They paused the sales the first day of release bc the bad reviews “until they fixed it” and we still waiting, I want to buy it on steam anyway.
The Chinese gov plot is something that people said but is not true imo

The game was well made, good quality, was well thought out and has depth. There were also additional challenges that were yet to be released which tells me that the developers had plans to add more into it from the start. That to me doesn't look like someone who is just looking for a quick buck to rip people off and ran away with the money. I've seen games that were just rip offs and you can tell that not much effort really went into it. Not this one though.

In a perfect world and if it was all up to them, I am confident that they will continue working on the game like its nobody's business. Because why not? That is the dream.

The negative bombing review is quite suspicious. They seem to repeat the same terminologies and phrases over and over again which is very suggestive that its all coming from one point of origin. I hope they will be able to overcome whatever it is that is stopping them because this is one heck of a game.

If china was willing to ban anything related to Winnie because of a meme, pretty sure they're willing to ban a game for its content.

Why are there quite a few people here that are pushing the narrative that the devs pocket the money, abandon game, and ran off. While also saying its not the government's fault.

Right. They basicaly made no sale since they took it off like a day after release. And absolutely no company would take down a game just because there is some bugs. They would just patch it and maybe appologize for the bugs at launch.

We all know it was not their decision to take down the game.

The Closest game that is similar to this is 'Hobo: tough Life' just there is not catchy background story like this one with the lone shark and debt, Hobo: tough life, your just a hobo doing hobo things for survival lol

That's why everyone wonders why they would just shut down sales and run. Game works good, has good gameplay and the current state of it is pretty good and there's a lot of content.

They have a good project there so why not complete it.
