Like, just stop. You're look really sad here.
Each game has disadvatanges, you're either okay with it or you're not.
Is presentation or QoL really the hill you're going to die on?
Well, the whole holy war involving P3 player base IS kinda sad and for a pretty obvious reason (not counting P1 and P2). After all, people wish to vote with their currency and they deserve to know all the information regarding the products they buy. In case of P3 it is not so straightforward; rather tricky and even toxic, as you may have seen. Unlike P4/P5, It is the only game that still haven't got empowered version despite being the oldest one. As of now, community is basically divided by these following groups: people who exclusively played one of the versions and those who played both. Ah, yes, there are also people who played P5/P4, both of them, and who are yet to try out P3 with some set expectations. It may seem that Atlus took a lazy short-term route for getting easy money, which is totally understandable. However, it is still a sort of a speculation and up to debate how it will turn out in the long run. Whether it is the only reason or not, unfortunately, we don't have here an Atlus employee to prove it with their KPI estimation data regarding whole P3 to PC process. That's why some folks like me would like to hear out any official claim regarding P3 release on PC. It's not like that a little bit of feedback for transparency with community would do any harm, right? In fact, the effect would be completely opposite.
I mean that if only P3P is available, I’d rather replay FES on my PS3 60Gb.
P3P has always been an inferior version by nature because it was mad et to adapt to the PSP.
I have nothing against that, but it was fine……on the PSP
Also to the people who would prefer FES, just don't support this game by purchasing it. Speak with your wallet and actions rather than bending over and buying a version that you think is inferior.
I can't stand P3FES thank you. I'll take PS3P any day.
Had FES.
Had portable.
FES was the best edition. Portable cut back on things to fit on a PSP. Period. Female MC addition was a gimmick that turned out well most likely due to how great the P3 team was, but other than that is just that: a gimmick, added on to an already complete game as a selling point to get people to buy the game a second (or third) time.
Ultimately, the best that could have happened would have been a remastering of P3, with the FES content and graphics (if not better) and P3P content combined, but let's face it: this is the lazy option, and every time I see Atlus take a "lazy option", I'm making side-eyes at Sega something fierce...
I dont understand why you are so mad just because someone clearly prefers the SUPERIOR version. You people keep clinging to your FeMC as if it's the last bastion or smth. Well, guess what, most people don't care about FeMC, they want animations, they want cutscenes, they want the game to somewhat resemble the quality we got in Persona 4 Golden
Maybe - and hear me out on this - it's because of arrogant comments like that?
No one just states their opinion and moves on, they have to throw in a bit of shade with unnecessary comments like that knowing full well they are baiting someone to take offense to it, not that I'm not guilty of it, too, in a couple threads.
