After beating P3P, I wished I played P3 FES first.
Having beaten P3P first, I can't help but feel that I missed out on the full experience. I didn't read the reviews, and yes, they removed the original cutscenes, 3D environments, and The Answer, which I found to be a significant loss. I saw some clips on YouTube, and they are beautifully animated and adds a lot of depth to the game's story, and I wish I had experienced them firsthand. While the P3P ending was still emotional and impactful, I couldn't help but feel like something was missing from the overall story, leaving me wanting more. I enjoyed my time with P3P, but after seeing the differences in P3 FES, it would have been a more complete and satisfying experience. If I have the chance, I would love to play Persona 3 FES and experience the full game as it was originally intended. As the saying goes, "you only get to experience a game for the first time once," and in the case of Persona 3, I wish that I had treasured that first experience by playing the original FES version.

I feel that. I played FES first, but I didn't finish it.

Persona 3 already has a very thin story spread across the game, so it feels like it REALLY needs the tiny details. In P3P you feel like you're just navigating menus in a mobile game. It doesn't do Persona 3 justice.

I've been doing a first time run through FES on youtube after finishing P3P many years ago and yeah its a night and day difference between the two games

This port was a waste of time imo, shouldve either ported FES or just skipped p3 and ported the psp remakes of the first 3 games
I don't think they should've ported Fes. They should've made a definitive edition that combined Portable and Fes.
