Fusion accidents

I've played almost 100 hours and never had a fusion accident. Is there a way to force a fusion accident? I need it for achievement

Try on a day when Fuuka says accidents are more likely. TBH I think that only affects Tartarus floors, not Persona fusion, but it can't hurt to try at least.

Also, I believe fusions using 3 Personas are about 2x as likely to have accidents than fusions using 2 Personas.

I don't think the tartarus accidents affect it, but I've read there is a shrine message you can get that does. I've never seen it though.

Otherwise you're right, the 3 fusion is twice as likely to give an accident, and 4+ fusion has no chance. I'm pretty sure you can just save and then repeatedly fuse 3 low level, cheap personas over and over and get one pretty quick. I've already had 3 and I've only completed about 40% of the compendium.

26 hours in and I got one.

Pretty good one BTW I was level 19 and it was level 24.

It's a 1/64 chance for normal fusions and a 1/32 chance for triangle fusions.

i'm in endgame trying to get one failure haha.So far no luck at all.

Yesterday I spent about 30 minutes fusing 3 personas until I got it.

Had this conundrum present itself. Took around a week of so of grinding and that was not fun. I would suggest not having a Fool persona in your stock while attempting this. Especially if it's a persona that is close to your player level. From a bit of testing, it seems that accidents are tied to Player level and Fool personas. For reference, I could not get one accident to proc with an Orpheus Telos in my stock at all after 4 straight days of attempting (Being level 99 when starting). When he is removed, I got one. It was Telos. It's all about perseverance and constant saving/reloading, sadly. There's no trick to increase the chances (P3P removed the Naganaki Shrine effect that increases accident chances). Honestly this shouldn't have been an achievement in the first place.

Oh my level is 99 and only persona in that range is Telos so maybe i try that.

welp finally got one and it was Telos. This bs took me over 2 hours of tries and reloads.

I just played 8+ hrs and got my first one after probably 20 fusions in a row lol. I think the RNG gods either give out or don't, sounds like shiny odds in pokemon or winning a state/provincial lottery lol.

50 tries of triangle fusion and nothing, fml. The most annoying thing is how much clicks it takes to go through all leveling up messages. I guess I'll better try again on NG+ while my SLs are low.
