To my knowledge it still does exist however there are items that you can get that negates charm so it doesn't do anything.

It's so absurdly easy to get an accessory that nulls Charm (it's a heart item from a really early Persona) that it's a nonissue.

I know this is a few days old but I dont understand why that guy is complaining about a boss fight that seems to be difficult. You cry about him spamming a skill when we as players spam a skill that is strong/effective against them? So you have an AI that tries to win and you cry?

Also, I never had an issue with that boss and I dont understand his team choice either but to each their own. As someone else said, theres items/accessory that help out and you just need a basic plan when fighting him.

'He keeps doing a move that works very well against me!'....uh....yeah? Your point? 'It makes it hard to beat him and I have to start all over!'...again your point? Challenging bosses make it worth while when beating them.

Saying this again, some 'FINAL' 'BOSS' fights are meant to be 'HARD'. Thats kind of the point? You know, final ultimate being? Dont know why people want things easy.

I sound like a prick I know but really, watching that video and hearing him complain is...kinda annoying.

Portable's Direct Commands made things a bit more bearable because you had more agency and could deal with Charm as soon as possible. But even back on PS2, if you had the Narcissus persona and its heart item, the MC could deal with most of it.

Devil's advocate: I can appreciate that this will be very frustrating to witness if you're going in cold and don't know what the boss' moves are yet. But even then, you should prepare for the worst. :)
