Akihiko's Social Link Rank 10 bug

Did anyone else encounter this as well? If you go for Romance Route with Akihiko for some reason his rank 10 event will still think of his as just a friend, which pretty much makes you lose out on Christmas Eve event.
Just to clarify, I triggered all the necessary flags and I even got the "Special Someone" achievment.

This might be happening to me too, but I'm not 100% sure, just that the 10th rank felt strangely platonic compared to the 9th... I haven't yet reached Christmas this time around though so hard to be certain.

If you only got 1 dialogue choice then your social link is bugged as well. Not sure if it's something that could happen in the original P3P or something related to this port.

oh, i thought something was off - i also did all flags correctly, and ended up on the friendship rank 10 rather then the romance. good to know it's not just me lol

AFAIK there are three flags you need to answer correctly

Rank 4 (this is where he ask if Junpei and you are dating) : He says something like: "it's a rumor I heard" - The correct answer is: "Don't get the wrong idea, Senpai"

Side note: This answer doesn't provide bonus points, compared to another answer ("it's all right"). So if you were following a guide to get the most points then you missed this one

Rank 6 (this is when you go out to eat and a child start screaming): He says something like "you think I am strange?" - The correct answer is :"You are charming"

Finally rank 9: you have another flags: "It's the weirdest thing" - The correct answer is "You are in love",

If all three flags are up, Akihiko will ask "will you be my girl?"

Welp, this explains it. But it's still kinda weird that I got the achievment for it and suddenly on rank 10 I get his platonic relationship dialogue. No Chrismtas Eve item for me

Seems I missed the rank 4 flag! However he did still ask me "will you be my girl" in rank 9 (with only 2/3 flags), which is why it seemed strange.

I also agree with OP that getting the achievement for it is odd.

It is 100% bugged. I missed this alleged rank 4 flag, but Akihiko still asked "wanna be my girl?" in Rank 9, and in the original that was the only flag that needed to be cleared. Then Rank 10 comes with a Friendship option.

I got the achievement as well. Screw this, next time I am dating Ken.

You can't actually date Ken. You can only tell him to wait until he's older as a nice way of rejecting him.
