ugh, might have to pull a 'Banner Saga' method and see if we can't manually go the folder and make manual backups then
2. Suspend save
3... Uh. Framerate is better? I don't think that counts as a QoL feature but I am enjoying it regardless.
It's not Atlus's finest work, I'll say that much. It works, and in some ways it's a better experience than ppsspp, and in other ways it's worse. Honestly I think the main reason to get this one is to actually play it handheld again, on the switch.
They even left the PSP-style save system.
This game is only worth if for people wh want to play the Femi character. Because overall, it feels like a downgrade to the PS2 version, EVEN if battles are easier and less obnoxious. The 3D models are just the same of the PSP, emulating the game if you have the original, and the 3D models there are the same here, they didn't even grab the PS2 models for TARTARUS at least. So you can see it's a stripped-down version with less blood and effects overall a thing all Persona Dungeons always have, no matter how bland they are, since the third game, they always have that glow around. This game just feels like Resident Evil 4 Original release for PC, a stripped-down version without most of the effects that make the game beautiful.
No cutscenes either, of course, and or you enjoy the characters and chat in the bland 2D screens, or you just skip them quickly, just to be received by the blandest versions of Tartarus you've ever seen.
At the end, at least for me, it's jarring, and it's not worth the 20$. It would be worth 5$ and that's a stretch, sorry.
It was revolutionary for a PSP game, but on PC, at the same pricetag of Persona 4 Golden which is a work of art, nope.
Do I reccomend P3? Yes, absolutelly. But if you can play the PS2 version, OR if you're the owner of a PS2 copy, there's an awesome mod pack you can use with emulation to make the game beautiful, crisp, and most of all: Party controllable if you want.
Mods and Cheat Engine.
These Days I don't play JRPGs on pc anymore without speedhack or emulator speedup. It can save you hours of time, in RPGs that take 100 hours to complete it can even save you 10-20.
it says so when you select the option to quick save... but I feel your pain that is rough!
I have noticed the option to change the difficulty parameters and EXP gain, etc while in Tartarus. It is kind of similar to P4 Golden where you could also change the parameters.
Maybe this is a New Game+ option but they gave it to all New Players from the start idk
