Just finished the game

Pretty good game.
I heard there we're multiple endings, so I was concerned that the game was gonna be dumb and not revert my save to an earlier point after I killed the final boss. Glad to see I was wrong.
It was the ending where I return to Penglai.

Is the other ending(s) tedious to unlock? No spoilers please

No. It's not. You just gotta
1. Make sure ShuanShuan gets all his gifts
2. Help Shennong with the apeman village
3. Pick up the bomb item in the Grotto of Scriptures (if you haven't already) and give it to Kuafu

[Below is spoilers for people who haven't gotten the Penglai ending already]

If you did all these, Kuafu will ask you a question after you return to the pavilion (after it's attacked.) The answer you give should be obvious. If you did everything right, when you get to the node right before the Eigong fight, the screen should say 80% complete instead of 20% like it did in the normal ending.

Not tedious at all, there's no "hidden" requirements (everything Ventus listed can be kept track of through the world map treasure icons)

Nope, when you reload a finished game save you'll be taken back to the save before the "point of no return" and from here you can complete all the requirements you need to get the second ending. You do have to replay the Tianhuo research centre area, but it's pretty short once you know what to do and aren't reading all the data entries
