Lady Ethereal Third Phase

I have reached Lady Ethereal and have the first two phases quite consistent. I just do not really understand the strategy for the third phase. I am not sure what you have to do to dodge/parry the charged attack. It feels like I am forced to take some damage there as parrying the the two enemies right before keeps me in the air long enough for the charged attack to go off. And even after making it through that portion, the opportunities to get damage in are so few and far between that the boss cycles back to the charged attack again and again. I have beaten other bosses just by repetition and learning attack patterns, but this is the first boss that I just do not know what it expected out of me.

immediately after parrying the second enemy press the dodge button and you should avoid the spirit bomb. Phase 3 looks a lot more intimidating than it actually is. Learning the spirit bomb move is probably the only big hurdle. The rest of the moves you've pretty much already seen- just at a different cadence. Phase 3 was a lot more fun to me as someone who enjoys learning patterns and punishing accordingly than phase 2 which felt more about adaptability. Give it some more attempts and you'll definitely get it.

Additionally, the best time to damage Lady Ethereal is when she's doing that attack. After she destroys the floor and you fall down you can start comboing her as you fall, getting in some big damage with a full charge full control talisman.

Thank you both. I was able to get that timing down for the dodge and use the Talisman and Bow right after for most of the damage I needed. In hindsight, the fight was not much more difficult from the second to third phase, but it became a bit frustrating and tedious to keep repeating the first two phases to just immediately die in the third. The tips helped for sure!

Not gonna lie, when I realized she had a 3rd phase after about my 50th try getting thru phase 2, I installed the cheat mod and ended it. No regrets :)

That feeling when you nail her absolutely because you died so much on phase 1 and 2 so you beat them flawlessly and finally getting the timing on the spirit bomb that you completely blow her back out barely taking any damage.
