Start the fight from the right side where the azure sand bottle is, use all your arrows, with the bottle in between you and the boss so your arrows (Cloud Piercer X) break the bottle giving to more arrows.
Using Water Flow, stick a talisman to him and hop back out the arena with the grapple point, hop back down for another talisman.
If you need Talisman charges, hop down and parry the swipes, then hop back out.
He might recover a tiny bit of health, when his AI resets, but you can straight cheese him, abusing the grapple points

What I tried was the spikes on the left, buddy is too much of spaz to fall in I think.
i mean at first i had trouble because yes its genuinely a challenging mini boss but its just so easy to find a cheese if you use your brain for 2 seconds
