And I'm convinced that they are by design, considering just how easy it is...

I have found a way to not interact with about 90% of the minibosses in a normal way.
3 of which can be INSTANTLY killed.

One of the achievements is basically "Cheese this particular mini-boss". It's not really cheese then, as I'm sure they were designed that way.

But I've seen streamers/content creators intentionally avoid cheese because of their pride. Seems like good design to me lol

I tried for a bit but sadly its one of the ones that got away.

Spirit Keeper: Cixing is cheesable, because of those grapple points
Start the fight from the right side where the azure sand bottle is, use all your arrows, with the bottle in between you and the boss so your arrows (Cloud Piercer X) break the bottle giving to more arrows.
Using Water Flow, stick a talisman to him and hop back out the arena with the grapple point, hop back down for another talisman.
If you need Talisman charges, hop down and parry the swipes, then hop back out.
He might recover a tiny bit of health, when his AI resets, but you can straight cheese him, abusing the grapple points

What I tried was the spikes on the left, buddy is too much of spaz to fall in I think.

all i did for spirit keeper was just keep the arrow guy at the left alive so that i could use advanced water flow and just keep farming arrows for qi charges and go down attach three talismans then grapple stall for more arrows to parry until he dies

i mean at first i had trouble because yes its genuinely a challenging mini boss but its just so easy to find a cheese if you use your brain for 2 seconds
