Bug - Softlock

I've killed the Celestial miniboss in the Greenhouse, but the panel after him (which I assume opens the barrier above the rope back up to Chiyou) is unhackable.

So it seems if I want to continue playing, I'm just going to have sacrifice myself to get teleported back to the root node and then abandon my Jin.

I think the game has been great so far, but in a game with mechanics this exacting and punishing, to be screwed over like this by a technical glitch is immensely infuriating.

Posting here for posterity: I'll bite the bullet this time just so I can keep playing, but if I encounter another bug like this I'll expect a full refund.

I'm not 100% sure you were soft-locked, you probably just missed something.

What do you mean it's unhackable? Are you not able to use your mystic nymph? Are you saying the tunnel to get to the hack port is blocked or are you saying the hack port doesn't work when you fly the mystic nymph to it?

If it is a bug, I'm sure resetting will allow you to hack in and get your stuff back. Have you tried that?

The hack prompt wouldn't appear. I thought it was because I was trying to bail on the celestial, but it didn't appear once I eventually killed it.

I quit out and the prompt appeared as normal when I later restarted. I should've thought of that at the time, but I was pretty het up thinking I'd been robbed after a (to me) gruelling battle. (No disrespect to devs: brilliant game, superb combat)
