Save data location?
Have the game on gamepass and my gamepass runs out on the 24th. How would i save my save file so when i buy the game on steam ill can just carry it over? If anyone cares only reason I want to is I just don't wanna rush through the game on what feels like a artificial time limit.

You can try checking the following location:

C:\User\AppData\LocalLow\RedCandleGames\NineSols

I'm not 100% on that. It's where my steam save is stored, but locallow is also where my gamepass saves for other games are stored so I figured there's a chance it's there. If it is there just be sure to make a backup of the save before installing on steam because steam might overwrite it.

If they're not there, you might have to go through
C:\User\you\appdata\local\packages
and find the folder that says redcandle or nine sols and find the save file there somewhere.

If neither of these work for you, a third option would be to download a save close to what you progressed up to from here https://www.speedrun.com/nine_sols/resources

Yea neither of these worked i put the command into run and nothing. Is it not located in the root folder?

you'd probably have better luck locating these manually than putting the command into run as certain things weren't filled out in a way that's friendly to copy pasting it.

in the user folder there might be multiple folders, default/public/something unique to you as a user. You need to go through the folder unique to you. I could have explained that better, but I also can't really link that in a way you can copy paste the command because I have no idea what your user profile name is.

You also need to make sure that you can view hidden files. If you just google how to view hidden files it should give you an easy step by step tutorial.

It shouldn't be in the unity folder. Those are for the engine it uses.
Is there a folder that says "saveslot0"? If so you'll want to copy that whole folder.
