will controllers work in the final game?

i'm on a mac with a ps4 controller - plugged in or wireless, neither way did a controller work. this happens a lot with games and it's so frustrating. will this really actually support controllers? or only for windows/xbox setups?

Actually, we do support wired PS4 controllers for playing Nine Sols on Mac.
Can you try to check the controller setting in the "preferences" -> "controller" page?

Thanks for responding! I ended up having to disable steam inputs to get it to work, but it ran so poorly on my computer I can't play it anyway.

Ok how can you not run nine sols? I have a crappy hp pavilion 15 and I probably could get to 120 fps or higher but I only have a 60 Hz, how bad is your computer?

Just to leave a message here for someone like me trying to figure out whether controllers work on Macs for Nine Sols, my 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ works perfectly on my M1 MacBook Air wired and wireless. And Nine Sols runs smoothly, too!
