Useful jades for eigong SOLVED

im using swift blade, qi swipe, last stand, and stasis.
Im doing a glass cannon build and i cant take direct damage because yes

Going by memory, I believe my first jade setup was Divine Hand + Hedgehog + Reciprocation + Iron Skin. That one was mostly a "learn the boss" jade where it emphasized parrying as much as possible and healing when I could. I wanted to use Medical Jade too since it heals for more but didn't have the computing units.

The 2nd time I think I had some combo of Focus + Harness + Breather because I was using a charged attack build. Charged attack build involves moving as little as possible and pumping out lots of charged attacks.

You'd be surprised how little you have to actually move when you try to stop moving. Just don't stand in the flames on the floor lol

Exception being the Feng twins battle and Lady Ethereal.

thx, i tried it, but i think its such a radical change to my gameplay i cant. Currently, thanks to swift blade and last stand i do really good sword damage, and thanks to qi swipe and me using full control talisman attacks do a lot of damage, just i take a lot of internal damage, which is an advantage because of last stand. Also, is hedgehod that good? i heard its very good, but it seems not that good. and i cant seem to learn to use divine hand. I was considering use qi blade for better blade, or some jade thats good. Thanks for the suggestion tho

If your plan is to go Last stand intentionally against Eigong, then you are very brave indeed. I might recommend removing Stasis since I'm not really sure it does anything against the final boss of the game and swap over to Reciprocation instead to transfer some of that internal damage. Then you can use water flow to proc it all and add in sword until it blows for a bit extra and get back to last stand.

Edit: You can also, optionally, try swapping out Qi Swipe for Qi Blade if you want to go all in on Last Stand sword. Especially if using unbound counters a bit more.

Hedgehog is alright in that it does a bit of internal damage on an inherently defensive action that does not normally deal damage, but the internal damage is very minor. If you're going for max internal damage on an enemy via parries its generally better to start with using Divine Hand and Reciprocation and learning unbounded counter windows + combos and then adding in Qi Swipe when more confident for maximum last stand-esque high risk/reward but parries instead of sword.

i tried swapping stasis with qi blade and that damage is amazing. like, i dont even get a good talisman in and she is in second phase. I still dont understand why divine hand is so amazing, like do i unbound counter regular attacks to maximize internal damage? The problem is solved, but i stil dont understand what is divine hand's use.

Yeah, its usefulness is largely due to the skill you get that raises the internal damage done by unbounded counters which applies regardless of what attack you're parrying. Divine Hand adds to it by letting you unbound counter combo moves like Eigong's triple pokes or her Iai slash in phase 1 (move where she dashes through you and then you get attacked by three rapid slashes) for a large chunk of internal damage.
