NG+?
I love replaying games with all of my upgrades. Playing through the game on Game Pass made me realize how much I enjoyed it, specially after noticing the modular difficulty settings and the story mode. Now I'm planning on getting the title in the future on Steam, but my question is:

Does the game have NG+ so you can replay with your upgrades as many times as you want?

and if not, do the devs are planning to add this mode in the future?

Thanks in advance.

Does it has NG+: No
Do the devs are planning to add this mode in the future: No announcement yet.

I'm a bit tired of the super basic lazy NG+ formula like Fromsoftware and countless other do.

I'd like them to go crazier. Mix in something ike the Heat System in Hades. Actually Rogue Legacy 2 did it in a way that would fit Nine Sols way better.

NG+n
The n gets highers as you select different options for buffing enemies, debuffing you character, adding to enemies moves set, Upgraded bosses, New environmental hazards etc for a customizable run with n as a measure of how crzy your run is. It would be a lot more interesting

Unfortunately, at the moment there's no NG+. I would love to see it implemented in the game. The devs haven't made any promises regarding that but I believe it's a matter of time until they add it.

There is a Battle Memory mode that allows you to fight again all the bosses with all the skills, items and jades, so there's that.

The best NG+ I've seen was in Grime where even the common mobs have new moves/attacks. The bosses as well. Plus new upgrade items and a boss exclusive to NG+. So it's not just about adding multipliers. Out of all fromsoft games that I played, Dark Souls 2 did the NG+ the best with new enemies and items. Shame their following games didn't follow or improve on that formula.

Grime NG+ was clearly a step up that came way after the release.

Rogue Legacy 2 does all of that already. The upgraded bosses and enemies are barely recognizable from their original. Hades had upgraded bosses too. It was never just multipliers

Technically speaking, Hollow Knight, also metroidvania that I can tell Nine Sols took some inspiration from as far as gameplay and exploration goes didn't have a NG+ either. It had Steel Soul Mode which ended your game if you died once. Problem is, that mode needed work since there is a very easy exploit to that mode: if you are about to die, you pause the game and quit to menu, and the game will bring you back to the last bench you rested at. Plus some of the hardest bosses and challenges let you die repeatedly without any reprimand (referring to the souped up Dream bosses and not Dream Warriors as well as anything in Godhome) so...yea I think that mode needed a fail-safe of some kind.

As for Nine Sols? While Battle Memory sounds neat, letting you refight the game's bosses, there is no boss rush feature from that mode apparently. I guess it's better than nothing? I kinda hope the game sells more (it probably won't on Xbox though since it is on gamepass
-_-) so maybe they can implement that feature into Battle Memory? A boss rush mod already exists to my knowledge though, but an official feature of such would be nice.

If theres a major update to the game, you'd be able to find it easily in relation to news/updates to the game.
So no, nothing yet.
