Any other purpose of recycleable materials?

Hey, I would like to know if all recycleable materials like components but escpecially the unique ones with a name (e.g. Noble ring, Shuanshuan coin, etc) have any other purpose than that or are they all just for selling? I would hate it when I sell those just to notice later that there is another purpose.

The Gene Eradicator can be used to make the fight against Jiequan a bit easier, and gives an achievement.

That's the only one that comes to mind I'd recommend not selling. Just make sure to read the descriptions of the others before selling for some lore and such, especially the passenger tokens you'll find later.
