Possible Abandoned Mines Bug

I'm at the very end of the game, the point of no return, but there's still a section of the map I haven't been able to go to, between the Abandoned Mines and the Galactic Dock. I've collected every item from every area according to the map, but I have no way of entering this area through either door. I tried to look this up online and found that Shennong is supposed to give you the key to the door in the Abandoned Mine when you escape the jail, but I was never given this. There's no new dialog from any character in the Pavilion, and I have no idea what to do.

Am I missing something, or am I the victim of a rare bug?

They have fix this bug in the latest patch. If you still don't get the Abandoned Mines key you can send your file to them for fixing
