Noticed something about the Fengs boss fight
Their attacks are synchronized. The sister does not attack at random, but rather adds her moves to her brother’s moves. You can especially tell during the crimson attack when the sister almost always summons two daggers right before the attack lands. After you realize this and treat their attacks as singular moves, the fight is a lot more manageable.

Yep, that's the main gimmick of it. Fuxi's pretty easy on his own but having to keep track of Nuwa's attacks is what makes the fight difficult.

I had a lot of trouble with the big guy even by himself. Almost all of his attacks are super delayed, and the one that isn’t gives you almost no time to react to it. The second phase made me panic a bunch until I noticed the synchronization between the siblings. After you notice that, it becomes simple to predict what attacks that Nuwa will throw out. She summons daggers during combos and the crimson attack, and throws out those snake AoEs when Fuxi is preparing to slap you from across the screen.

Hmm, I suppose that's the take meant to be gathered from that fight. I mainly noticed the daggers when he'd do his crimson attack meaning I could no longer effectively Unbound Counter it.

Ultimately, I just turned my focus on defensive combat and just made sure I could counter and dodge anything Feng-bro threw my way and throw a charged attack in when I could while minimizing Feng-sis' contributions. If there was a pattern, I guess I wasn't focused on it.
I might be misremembering, but I think there's a way to get Unbounded Counters in by holding down the parry button to parry the last dagger, then keeping it held down and letting go to parry the crimson attack. I remember having to rewire myself slightly there since I was used to doing normal parries and unbounded parries completely separately, which slowed down how fast I could get an unbounded parry out for that crimson attack.

fuxi needs less knockback on his attacks in phase 2, the amount of times nuwa throws snakes and fuxi yeets me into them (when i air parry) makes me want to explode
