Switching back from story mode
I know I'll get roasted but whatever, can we PLEASE get the option to switch back from Story mode if we made the choice mid game to get past a difficult section? Even setting the Attack and Injury modifiers to 100% on both doesn't seem to put it back to the same damage as in standard mode. Having this option would make the game so much more fun for me so I don't get stuck for days while trying not to crush my controller. Otherwise brilliant game!

Well, this is to prevent people just take the easy way out on bosses they don't want to deal with then pretend they actually beat it in normal mode. So yeah, this game is meant to be difficult, deal with it or just suffer from the dissatisfaction of not getting that one achievement. 苦難鑄英雄

your self-confidence must be pretty low to "suffer" from not beating a game in standard mode xd
The Standard Mode achievement is an achievement for a reason.

I'm pretty sure this is not the case.

I am pretty sure that setting both the dmg output to 100% and dmg reduction to 0% is equivalent to playing the game on normal difficulty.

I mean to be fair other games have had it where if you change the difficulty you can no longer get the achievement for the harder difficulty even if changed back. I haven't played in story mode so I can't speak for the whole 100% 0% being the same as normal thing, but I think it's a reasonable request. Just keep the achievement locked to pure standard saves

seriously I would also REALLY appreciate this :( that Ethereal boss broke me but I desperately want to play the rest of the game on normal difficulty... with the game so long, restarting is just asking too much at this point and it could be placebo depending on the story mode settings but I just feel like its much less challenging. I think 100% attack multiplier 100% damage MIGHT be what Standard mode is...? but I truly don't know. I do know I've been breezing through everything past the Ethereal Boss so far though

Do you mean Injury Multiplier to 100%? when I put it to 1% (it doesn't go to 0%) I literally take a millimeter of damage lol

AFAIK for the standard mode settings, you have to set attack and injury multiplayer both to 100%. You will only get the standard mode achievement when you play the whole game on standard mode though
