Phase 1 - You can either dodge or unbounded counter that attack with your setup it's probably better to use the counter but if you want to dodge it do this: begin running away from her when she starts it, at the height of her jump just before she comes crashing down jump (this will stop the fire from being an issue) and then just as she hits the ground do an air dash. It's not too hard to get the timing on this dodge down
Phase 2 - Definitely easiest to parry this attack. As she starts charging it begin charging your counter...always watch her not your character. When she raises her arm and opens her eyes release the counter. Then parry the next two white slashes on the same timing and hold the last parry into an unbounded counter for the final red slash (or the "iaido" whirlwind attack she also does sometimes...you can keep parrying the three blows there)
Phase 3 - You're not trying to parry her, you're trying to parry the attack that comes after she travels across the screen, so when she dashes across the screen wait a half second and then parry the attack, there is a sound cue to help you. Also, These attacks naturally knock you up into the air even if you are on the ground so when she does the first one don't worry about jumping, just parry at let it carry you into the air and then continue the pattern.
Sorry for the extensive answer, but I hope these tips help you.

Divine hand was extra helpful since you could so much more internal damage. In the first phase when she teleports above you, you do not have enough have enough time to u. counter but she will always do the triple slash attack (she dashes through and leaves 3 slashes behind) after in the first phase and around 50% of the time in the second. Whenever she teleports above you, dash out of the way and immidiatly prepare an u. counter, even if she doesnt follow up with a triple you will have enough time to release it since she won't follow up with another attack. A drawback to the divine hand is that you will have to dash immidiatly after the 3 slash of the screenwide slash-combo she uses during the 2 & 3 phase since yi will stand still for a small amount of time after and u. counter.
Unbounded counters + full control is the way to defeat her. There are 2 attacks you always need to u. counter. One is the ball attack appearing in every phase. Another is the skull kick follow up. Whenever you skull kick in the 2 or 3 phase Eigong can follow up with an extra attack. The first variation you'll have to parry one slashand dodge a a crimson one. The second variation lets you parry 2 slashes which will knock you to the florr where you can unbound a crimson attack. Unbounding any of the in the first 2 phases will guarantee a 5-charge detonation with full control. During the last phase use a talisman just like the first 2 but release directly if she teleports away.
I personally never use arrows and bow in this fight since any safe opening to fire an arrow can be used to attach a talisman dealing more damage.
This might be complicated and a lot to remember so I suggest that you learn 1 or 2 of these tips to deal damage.
Defeating the boss requires you to know how to parry or dodge every attack she has. If you feel uncomfortable dodging or parrying a certain learn how to do it without recieving any damage around 60% of the time (certain attacks are more important to learn than others). Afterwards you can choose what attacks you punish her for.
In the air you have a non-directional parry - so you can parry her attacks without positioning yourself. For the red attack it's "very simple": jump. It takes 1-2 attempts but once you get the hang of it, her slashes in the air are like a short breather. The attack looks scarier than it actually is.
Unbound, parry, parry, unbound - there's plenty of time for that. The timing isn't easy but it's absolutely doable. I found it hardest to land the timing for the first unbound parry - but once you get into the rhythm, it works great.
Simply dodge it. If you have the ability to dodge, just stick with it.
If you're having trouble with her, use the bow to buy yourself a window of time to heal or to interrupt unwanted attacks - that's a much better use in my opinion.
I'm still having trouble with the phase 3 slashes, I know that the big one is delayed, but what about the smaller ones? It feels like sometimes they hit me and sometimes they don't are they just for show?
The visual part of the attack that actually hits you, from what I can tell, is when the white line gets a sudden bulge in it if you know what I mean and that's what you're trying to parry. I always just anticipated it because I could never seem to parry it once I saw it but maybe you'll have better luck. All of the attacks, from what I remember, are delayed so you'll always know the "line" she's attacking on before she attacks, so don't try to parry right away wait a second on all of them. This goes for the red line part of the attack as well...don't try to dodge it right away as you could fall back into the line by the time she actually does attack you.
Gotcha. Did you have a consistent method for dodging the talisman she likes to do afterwards or was it just getting used to the skull/tai-chi kick? Thankfully I'm getting more consistent at Phase 3, which is a good sign that I'm making progress, but having to really focus on phases 1 and 2 is incredibly draining on my mental :/
I personally never found her talisman dash to be that difficult to deal with at any point so I can't really think of a way that I learned to specifically avoid it. However, what I did was not overreact in the third phase to the full screen dashes. I see one dash I wait a half second then do one parry...this knocks me up a little into her next attack and I wait to see if it's another white dash (which I parry) or a red dash...which I wait a half second and then dodge either with air dash or a second jump. By not overreacting I always had one dodge tool (a second jump or a dash) left as I was falling to the ground and could avoid the talisman dash with it. However, you can always tai-chi kick that attack and coming down out of the air gives you a natural advantage to deal with it.
If you're consistently getting to third phase the most important thing to remember is to take breaks and let yourself rest and also subconsciously think through her attacks. I beat her myself after a break on my first attempt.
