I see from youtube videos that there is a way to spam the charge attack very quickly, what is that and how do you get it? Additionally I noticed in the grotto of scriptures entry region (the bottom of the giant gold elevator) there are some portals on cliffs that are to high to reach even with double jump, how do you reach those?

For the grotto, you can reach there by falling down from above, if I'm guessing correctly what you are referring to.

There's a jade that lets you charge faster while standing still, as well as a jade that makes them charge immediately if you land a perfect parry while charging one.
