The game encourages you to parry, not dodge, which makes sense why some attacks also hit behind. But, this isn't the case for everything and should be fixed in the same way you'd fix a texture error or an unintended glitch.
PARRY!
Considering I played this game thru twice on a non-optimal laptop from 2019, I find it interesting you have performance issues that are so bad, you are getting inconsistent hitboxes and sporadic lag spikes that limit your ability to perform the main selling point of the game.
Also, the parrying in the game is quite forgiving. The timing for perfect parries isn't monumentally precise and i-frames from dodge are lenient enough that you can dodge attacks too...you just can't expect to dodge past an attacking enemy and 100% not have the attack track you. You can dodge AWAY from the attack just fine. You can even dodge through attacks but you have to be even more precise in when you START the dodge so that your i-frames match the attack...it's just easier to parry since it just limits/neutralizes the damage while inflicting internal damage.
I don't care about your accomplishments. I only care if you beat Nine Sols. If you're genuinely having performance issues, probably try to solve those. Install your games on a SSD or something...I'm not a computer expert lol
I didn't say I don't care how you play, I said I don't care about your accomplishments.
Not only do you whine alot, but you can't read too?
Playing Sekiro on the same PC is superfluous since they don't use the same engine as Nine Sols nor do you outline anything about the settings you use so it's just all fluff whining BS on your part.
Lastly, if you don't want none, don't start none.
No, it means bringing up Sekiro without outlining your PC's specs is pointless. There's a possibility you're experiencing performance issues at certain points in the game, but it's so uncommon or minor, trying to pivot to unassociated info won't get you any closer to a solution...oh wait, your solution is likely crying to the devs to do "something" or to complain about a game that's quite good so you have a reason to label the game as bad.
And giving game advice about THIS game isn't derailing lol.
And need I remind you, you responded to me. You could have just shut your mouth and let people put down their opinion. Like I said before, if you don't want none, don'st start none.
That's why you're better off parrying or dodging away.
Being a boogeyman or not, if bad hitboxes happen, you don't win a cookie for being hit by them. And if it's truly bad, it may be fixed...I just don't think the ones you're talking about are bad, just unfortuitous to your combat strategy.
