The point of no return is indicated by your AI friend when you first dwelve into the second part of the lab. Specifically it's when you connect to the soulscape of Yi's mentor eigong.

Thanks. I have x/x number of items on every location and 100% in the database, so I'm gonna assume I got it and must have forget what was inside.
