Am I softlocked?

[405 Rats in A Trenchcoat]

Started the game and went downwards exploring. Got down to Baichang and beat him. My problem is the elevator next to him won't take me to other floors (This is my first time seeing an elevator too). Tried to backtrack and eventually I get to a room where the only way out is a platform above me, but it's too high to jump and there\s no grapple. Am I stuck? Am I missing another route? Is there a way out that isn't restarting since I saved in this area?

Are you absolutely sure you cannot select any other floor? The list should look like Apeman factory (or whatever it's called) - you are here. Locked floor above and below BUT there should be an option at the very top of the list.

Oh that's embarrassing. I've been running back and forth and for same reason never noticed the top option/didn't think I could click it. Thanks!

I think the floor texts there are a bit misleading, yeah, I can understand if you didn't notice it XD
