Is it a souls-like or the usual toddler; too easy; boring; under average type of settings ?
Yes. Developer confirmed that.
Yeah probably.
Not every non-souls-like is easy.
This is a silly post.
Also you can switch to story mode irreversibly at anytime in normal mode.
This is unacceptable, UNACCEPTABLE! It's a statements against inclusion and accessibility, it divides players into two territories, the "losers" (with family, job and no time for gaming) who get mocked and not acknowledged for doing their best and the git gudders (with no job, no family, virgins) who mock people and shame them for not having all achievements.
Does Red Candle know what they do? GATEKEEPING players in a SINGLE-PLAYER Game? Like how dare they to care how I play the game? If I want to one-shot everything it's my RIGHT to do so since I paid for the game, there should be NO judgemental modifiers. Indie developers have FOUGHT to make games finally inclusive by eliminating all toxic traits of "sense of accomplishment" which I rather would call "sense of entitlement". I'm horribly disappointed in red candle studios, what they do is discriminating ALL disabled people, switch and bait strategy giving them an easy mode for US the majority of the people who play games for FUN but then saying "♥♥♥♥ YOU, YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED THE GAME PROPERLY" WTF.
To all these toxic gatekeepeing souls elitists in advance, "who have hurt you?", "how does my act on finishing the game on Story Mode, invalidate your accomplishment of putting hours into tryharding a game?"
There is NO tolerance for intolerance, no inclusion by exclusion, no accessibility by differentating between players. Seriously you should all touch grass.
I did not say that nor would consider souls-likes difficult overall as they do not reauire a lot of reflexes.
I've not been born yesterday.
Your REPLY is silly indeed.
Is there a "hard" mode ?
Is it well balanced ?
I'm far from elite.
I don't suck but that doesn't mean it's the other extreme.
Games nowadays get easier overall.
Celeste is one extreme compared to games of the same year or later overall.
Compared to old games, it's less of a gap overall.
I can't tell if you missed the point or you're doing it on purpose.
As for OP's question: it's still going to be a long game it seems, I played for about 5 hours and unless there's going to be some plot twists, I think I may be like 15% of the way through. Mind you I did have to retry bossfights quite a few times, I like challenge but that doesn't mean I'm "good", I'm just stubborn until I win :P
