Inaccessible room in Tiando Research Center

How do I get into this room? https://steamcommunity.com/id/skater901/screenshot/2494510408127856685/

The entrance is blocked by one of those spike spitting mutant flower thingies, but it's on the far side so I can't stick a talisman on it. I can't find any other way into the room either. How do I get in here?

Nearish the end I have the first 5 sols, and I believe I have all the unlocked story abilities, double jump was my last

There is one more thing to unlock, but you need to defeat bosses from eastern regions.

What about the room at the very top? I can't get in there. I thought maybe I should do a skull kick on the respawning enemy but it never gets you high enough

I'd be interested by the answer too. Can't reach it even with skull kick.

Yeah you have to bounce off the respawning enemy, it's just very hard. Double jump up to him, then talisman or counter or attack him (I'm not sure which) so that you can jump again. If you do it right, it'll get you high enough to get onto the very top ledge. That's how I did it, anyway, and I assume that's how it's meant to be done, due to the respawning enemy.
