I check your profile to see what games you accomplish, just to see if you have any justification in your discussion.
Dude.... you dont complete / finish games.
You bought 2 Dark Souls, 1 Prepare to Die, 1 Remastered. None of them did you link the flame. And you give remastered a good reviewed but you never finish it.
You played Fallout 4 & Banner Saga and didnt complete those too.
It seems like you buy heavy lore story games or souls-like games that takes too much time and just give up half way and then give a bad review because you dont have the time to learn the game or is not to your preference or want to complete it. And it feels like this is latest game that you want to dump your negative review on.
These games rely on you learning the boss mechanics through "YOU DIED" mechanic.. The sooner you learn the patterns the easier everything becomes. It's not a game where you develop a personal tactic during combat as you have mentioned, but rather one where you learn the precise ways to overcome a boss. It puts you in that state of flow and I personally love that.
P.S. I saw you mention that Hollow Knight has no story - I think you're an ignorant idiot.
I hated this game a few days ago and now I miss it 😐
The mid air parry was really useful here because it works on both sides, where as parrying on the ground only works in the direction you're facing.
