That's not to say it's bad, having a lot of fun with it, but the focus is on challenging bosses and combat that you are mostly guided directly toward. The platforming is all fairly basic and easy no real challenges, and you will mostly complete every single area of all its treasures on your first visit if you are diligent (and the ones you can't get are really only locked behind the double jump).
At its core, the game is about nails hard boss fights with limited movement abilities, a mostly understated HK-style charms (jade) system, and very slight exploration.
